History and Background!
I received my first computer in 1981 in the 3rd grade, an Atari 400 to be exact.
Within a few months I was writing simple programs in Atari Basic. By the 7th grade I was
developing in Pascal and in C by graduating high school. In 1987 for my 15th birthday my
parents arranged for a family friend to instruct me on how to build a PC: A 286 Passive
Backplane system. And from there I have been building custom systems, repairing PC's and
developing software. I graduated in 1997 from California State University with a degree
in Computer Science.
I've worked as a Systems Analyst at Powertel PCS, a Quality Assurance
analyst at Pacific Bell Wireless, Everything Office, CNET Networks, Ask Jeeves primarily as
a technical lead maintaining labs and servers, administering source repositories, defect
tracking software and QA file servers. At Scientific Atlanta, I designed requirements for
build management and QA PC's, maintained source repositories and compiled software builds
for SARA. After leaving Scientific Atlanta, I branched out on my own and started repairing
PC's, upgrading hardware, designing PC's for home users, installing wireless networks,
removing spyware, among other services. Currently while keeping up with current trends
I'm studying for obtaining my MCSE.
